The IFA Premiership 2012/13 (also Danske Bank Premiership after the league sponsor Danske Bank ) was the fifth season of the highest Northern Irish football league since the reorganization of the league and the 112th season overall. The season started on August 11, 2012 and ended on April 27, 2013.

After 33 game days, the league divided into a master playoff and a relegation playout with six teams each, in which each team competed once against each team in the group.

Defending champions and record champions Linfield FC failed to defend the title. Cliftonville FC became the new champions .

    Relegation

    The eleventh-placed Donegal Celtic was defeated after the end of the regular season in two relegation games Warrenpoint Town as runner-up in the IFA Championship due to the away goals rule . Thus, Warrenpoint Town has been promoted to the IFA Premiership and Donegal Celtic is the second relegated to the IFA Championship. The relegation games took place on May 7th, 8:15 pm CEST in Warrenpoint and May 10, 8:45 pm CEST in Belfast .
