The Irish League 1995/96 was the 95th season of the highest Northern Irish football league . Portadown FC became champions for the third time.

After the league was reformed, the eight best clubs of the last two years played for the championship. Each team played against each other four times on a total of 28 match days. The bottom of the table was relegated.
