The NIFL Premiership 2013/14 (also Danske Bank Premiership after the league sponsor Danske Bank ) was the sixth season of the highest Northern Irish football league since the reorganization of the league and the 113th season overall. The season started on August 10, 2013 and ended on April 26, 2014. From this season this league, as well as the next two divisions (Championship 1 and 2), will be administered by the newly founded Northern Ireland Football League .
After 33 game days, the league was divided into a master playoff and a relegation playout with six teams each, in which each team competed once against each team in the group.
Cliftonville FC was able to successfully defend the title and won its fifth championship. At the other end of the table, Ards FC had to relegate to the IFA Championship.
1Ards nominated Clandeboye Park as their home ground, which they have to share with Bangor FC because they haven't had a home since 2002.
2 Warrenpoint Town have nominated Stangmore Park as their home stadium, which they have to share with Dungannon Swifts because their stadium does not qualify for the NIFL Premiership.
The six best-placed teams in the regular season each competed against each other once to play off the champions and the international starting positions. The points from the basic round were taken along.
The six worse teams in the regular season each competed against each other once to determine who was relegated and who was relegated. The points from the basic round were taken along.
