The Kategoria Superiore 2013/14 was the 75th season of the highest Albanian league in men's soccer . It started on August 31, 2013 and ended on May 10, 2014.

The league has been reduced from fourteen to twelve teams this season. The teams now played three instead of two games, so each team will have played 33 games at the end of the season.

The defending champion was KF Skënderbeu Korça .

Besnik Kapplanaj, club president of KS Bylis Ballsh , had struck down Besnik Cela, a delegate of the Albanian Football Association , with a board after his club's game against KF Laçi on March 15 , whereupon KS Bylis Ballsh was excluded from the game on March 21, 2014 Kapplanaj were banned from office in football for life. The game in Ballsh was played without an audience due to rioting by fans. The Laç captain deliberately missed a penalty in the closing stages of the game to protect his team from angry fans waiting outside the stadium.
