In 2014, the Meistriliiga was played for the 24th time as the highest Estonian football division for men. The Estonian championship, which was officially held as A. Le Coq Premium liiga , began on March 1, 2014 and ended on November 8, 2014 with the 36th matchday.
Season course
As in the previous season, the league comprised ten teams. FC Levadia Tallinn started the season as defending champions . Promoted from the Esiliiga was the Jõhvi FC Lokomotiv . The last starting place was determined in the relegation games in November 2013 between JK Tammeka Tartu and JK Tarvas Rakvere , with last year's Meistriliiga representative from Tartu prevailing. Due to license violations by the parent club of Tammeka, the split-off youth or second team took part in the upper house in the 2014 season.
The championship was played in a regular season with two first and two second round matches. Each team competed four times against each other team. The bottom of the table JK Tallinna Kalev relegated to the second-rate Esiliiga , the ninth-placed Jõhvi FC Lokomotiv played in the relegation. The club lost this to JK Tulevik Viljandi . The championship was won by FC Levadia Tallinn .
