Igor Subbotin (born June 26, 1990 in Tallinn , Estonia ) is an Estonian football player who plays for the Estonian first division club FC Nõmme Kalju .

Career

Igor Subbotin began his career in the youth of FC Levadia Maardu , which from 2007 acted as FC Levadia Tallinn . He made his debut for the professional team in the 2009 Meistriliiga season . Before that, he had been active for many years in numerous youth teams and the second team in the Esiliiga . Shortly after being called to the first team, Subbotin was able to fight for a regular place. With the capital club, the midfielder managed a very successful time in the following years, which was crowned by some title successes including twice the championship and even three times the victory in the Estonian Cup.

National team

Igor Subbotin played in the U-19 of Estonia from 2008 to 2009, for which he appeared more than 20 times during this period. From 2010 he was in the squad of the Estonian U-21s . In May 2014 Subbotin made his debut for the Estonian national team during the Baltic Cup against Finland .
