Artur Pikk (born March 5, 1993 in Tartu ) is an Estonian football player . The defender is under contract with Miedź Legnica in the Ekstraklasa .
Career
society
In his youth Artur Pikk played for numerous clubs. His first football club was FC Velldoris, followed by FC Valga Warrior and FC Flora Rakvere . From the club from Rakvere Pikk moved to FC Levadia Tallinn in 2009, from which he was awarded to FC HaServ Tartu . From 2011 to 2012 under contract with JK Tammeka Tartu , he made his professional debut in the Meistriliiga against Trans Narva . In the jersey of Tammeka he was also able to score a goal in the Meistriliiga for the first time, in the game against Nõmme Kalju in August 2011. After the U-19 European Football Championship in 2012 , he moved to FC Levadia Tallinn. He made his debut for Levadia in the season game against newly promoted Tallinna Kalev which was won 6-0. In February 2016 he moved to BATE Baryssau in Belarus . A year and a half later he joined the Hungarian club MFK Ružomberok and since 2018 he has been playing for Miedź Legnica in Poland .
National team
He made his debut for Estonia in the U-17 in January 2009 against Latvia. In 2010 he played in the U-18 team against Finland. In the same year the defensive player made his U-19 debut against Portugal, with Pikk starting and being replaced by Kevin Ingermann after the half-time break . With the juniors of this age group he took part in the 2012 European Championship in his home country, where he was used in all three group matches over the entire duration of the game. For the U-21s he played 14 international matches in two years. He has been playing for the senior national team since 2014 . The defender has scored a goal in 31 appearances so far.
