Ilja Antonov (born December 5, 1992 in Tallinn ) is an Estonian football player .
Career
society
Ilja Antonov began his football career at JK Merkuur from Tartu in the district of the same name . From there he joined the Estonian capital club FC Puuma in 2006 , which is considered a training club for young talents in Estonia. In 2008, 2009 and 2010 the midfielder was awarded. He made his professional debut in the Esiliiga while on loan to Kiviõli Tamme Auto . After the 2009 season and another 2010 half series at the club from Kiviõli , Antonov returned to FC Puuma in the summer of 2010. With the second division club named after a predator , he reached 6th place in the table after the end of the 2011 season . After 57 competitive games and 24 goals scored in the league, Antonov moved to FC Levadia Tallinn . There he was able to win the Estonian Cup in his first season . Under Marko Kristal , the rather small runner also became a regular in the Meistriliiga.
In January 2017 Antonov moved to the Austrian second division club SV Horn , with whom he received a contract valid until June 2019.
After relegation from the second division, he moved to Slovenia in the summer of 2017 to join the first division club NK Rudar Velenje . After a season in Slovenia, he moved to Romania to FC Hermannstadt for the 2018/19 season .
National team
Ilya Antonov has played in Estonia's U-21 team since September 2012 , for which he made his debut in the game against Georgia . Further missions followed in the Baltic Cup of the U-21 juniors, for which he was invited by Frank Bernhardt . In the tournament Antonov scored his first goal in the national jersey against Finland . In the same year Antonov made his debut in the Estonian national team under national coach Tarmo Rüütli . In the international match against Oman at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Center in Muscat , he was in the starting line-up and was substituted for Eino Puri after 57 minutes of play .
