Artjom Artjunin (born January 24, 1990 in Tallinn ) is an Estonian football player .

Career

society

Artjom Artjunin began his football career at FC Levadia Maardu, which would later function as FC Levadia Tallinn. For the club from the capital of Estonia he played in youth from 2005 to 2007 before he was accepted into the reserve team. For the second team appearing in the Esiliiga at that time , he was used in 89 league games between 2007 and 2011. In 2009 he played on loan for JK Tammeka Tartu . After returning to his home club, he was able to secure a regular place. With Levadia he won the championship and the cup twice.

In early 2015, Artjunin left Levadia and moved to FC Brașov in Romania. There he only came to three missions and was relegated with his club at the end of the 2014/15 season . He returned to Levadia before joining the Polish second division club Miedź Legnica in early 2016 . There, too, he only played a few games. In 2017 he played again for Levadia and a year later for JK Tallinna Kalev . Since the 2018/19 season he has been under contract with the first division club FK Etar Veliko Tarnowo in Bulgaria .

National team

Artjom Artjunin made his debut for Estonia in the U-19 in April 2008 against Denmark. In the same year he also made his U-21 debut against Lithuania . From 2012, the central defender was used in the U-23. In November 2013, national coach Tarmo Rüütli appointed him for the first time to the senior national team for the international matches against Azerbaijan and Liechtenstein . He made his debut in the international match against Azerbaijan in which Artjunin was on the starting line-up.
