Yevgeny Gennadjewitsch Kabajew ( Russian Евгений Геннадьевич Кабаев ; born February 28, 1988 in Leningrad , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a Russian football player .

Career

Yevgeny Kabayev learned to play football in the youth team of FC Kolomyagi St. Petersburg in St. Petersburg . From 2009 to July 2010 he played in Estonia with JK Kalev Sillamäe . In 2010 he moved briefly to Kohtla-Järve JK Järve . In the same year he left Estonia and went to Finland , where he joined Oulun Palloseura from Oulu . In early 2011 he signed a contract with the Russian fourth division club FK Dynamo St. Petersburg in St. Petersburg. In the same year he moved to the league competitor FC Karelia Petrozavodsk in Petrozavodsk . In early 2012 he returned to his former club JK Kalev Sillamäe. Here he played until the end of 2016. From the beginning of 2015 to mid-2015 he played in Indonesia for Persija Jakarta . It is not known whether it was loaned or sold there. During his time in Sillamäe , he was the top scorer in 2016 with 25 goals. In 2017 he signed a contract in the Czech Republic with Bohemians Prague 1905 . The club from Prague played in the first division, the 1. česká fotbalová liga . In mid-2018 he left Prague and went to Khabarovsk . With the club he played five times in the first division, the Liga Nacional de Fútbol Profesional de Honduras . In 2020 he moved to Asia . Here the Thai club Samut Sakhon FC signed him. The club from Samut Sakhon plays in the second division of the country, the Thai League 2 .
