The FK SKA-Khabarovsk ( Russian Фк СКА-Хабаровск , scientific transliteration Fk SKA-Chabarovsk ) is a Russian football club from the Far Eastern city of Khabarovsk . The club plays in the second class Perwenstwo FNL .

history

The club, founded in 1946, has had numerous different names in its history: the team from Khabarovsk ran as DKA until 1953, then as ODO in 1954. In 1955 and 1956 the association was called DO Khabarovsk. In 1957 another name change followed, so that it was now called OSK. In the years 1957 to 1959 the team ran as SKWO, before the longest common name for the Khabarovsk club was found. In the years 1960 to 1999 the team ran for almost 40 years as SKA - from 1999 to 2016 with the addition "Energija".

Since 1957 the club took part in Soviet championships. Until 2017, they never made it into the country's first soccer league, neither during the Soviet era nor after the establishment of the Russian Premier League . The best placement up to 2017 was 6th place in 1980 in the second-class, Soviet Pervaya League , and 4th place in the 2012/13 season in the second-class, Russian Pervenstvo FNL . In 1963, the club moved into the quarter-finals of the Soviet Football Cup . From 1994 to 2001 SKA took part in the championships of the Russian third division . At the end of the 2012/13 season SKA-Energija reached the relegation place in Perwenstwo FNL, so played for promotion to the Russian football club, but was defeated in both games by FK Rostov and thus remained in second class. In 2016/17 the team again secured a relegation place, played for the second time for promotion to the top football league and rose to the Premjer League for the first time after two goalless draws and a subsequent penalty shoot-out against FK Orenburg . SKA was unable to establish itself there and was immediately relegated as bottom of the table.
