White Phantoms Football Club was a football club from Bathurst , the capital (which was renamed after Banjul in 1973 ) of the West African state of Gambia . The club played in the highest league in Gambian football in the GFA League First Division and was there from at least 1969. They won the championship ten times and were in 1970 as opponents of Real de Banjul in the final of the cup competition ( GFA-Cup ), but lost 2-1. This game was also a historic event on Gambian radio , it was the first game to be broadcast.

When the club was dissolved is not documented, in 1980 they still played in the First Division.
