Wenzislav Christow (also written Ventsislav Hristov , Bulgarian Венцислав Христов ; born November 9, 1988 in Sofia , Bulgaria ) is a Bulgarian football player .

Wenzislaw Christow began his football career in his hometown Sofia, where he signed his first professional contract with the youth club Lokomotive Sofia in 2006 . In 2007 he moved to FK Sportist Swoge and a year later to PFK Nessebar . In 2010 he moved to PFK Montana in order to sign with the Bulgarian first division club FC Chernomorez Burgas the following year . At the beginning of 2013 he switched to Beroe Stara Sagora . There he won the Bulgarian Cup in 2013. At the beginning of 2014 he switched to Metalurh Donetsk on loan for half a year . There he could not assert himself and only came to four short assignments. He returned to Stara Sagora in the summer of 2014 and left the club in early 2015 to join HNK Rijeka . In mid-2015 he was loaned to KF Skënderbeu Korça .

Levski Sofia signed him in early 2016 . There he shot his team in the second half of the 2015/16 season with eight goals for the runner-up. He switched to FK Neftochimik in mid-2016 . With the newcomer, he had to relegate at the end of the 2016/17 season . He left the club for the Russian first division club SKA-Energija Khabarowsk . He returned to Bulgaria at the beginning of 2018, where he joined FC Wereja Stara Sagora . Since summer 2018 he played for FC Arda Kardschali in the B Grupa .
