history

The club was founded in 1997 by Andrej Tschaika, who was a soccer player at PFK CSKA Moscow in his youth , in his hometown Peschanokopskoje, 170 kilometers south of Rostov-on-Don .

For the 2016/17 season, the club received a professional license for the Perwenstwo PFL , the third Russian league, for the first time . In the Russian Football Cup , the club made it to the sixteenth finals in 2018, where they met Anzhi Makhachkala for the first time against a club from the Premjer League .

In the 2018/19 season, the club, as champions of the southern season of the Perwenstwo PFL, was promoted to the Perwenstwo FNL , the second Russian league. Due to the low capacity of the Central Stadium in Pestschanokopskoje with around two thousand spectators, Chaika will play his home games in the Rostov Arena in the 2019/20 season .
