The FK Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk ( Russian Футбольный клуб Нефтехимик Нижнекамск ) is a Russian football club from the city of Nizhnekamsk in the Republic of Tatarstan .
Club history
The club was founded in 1991 by employees of a large refinery and was named Neftechimik (Russian Нефтехимик, German petrochemical workers ). After the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1992, the team was accepted into the third highest Russian league . 2017 followed another crash in the third division. Neftechimik has been playing second class again since 2019.
