Alexander Jurjewitsch Jerochin ( Russian Александр Юрьевич Ерохин ; FIFA spelling based on English transcription Aleksandr Yuryevich Yerokhin ; born October 13, 1989 in Barnaul , Altai region , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a Russian football player .

Career

Yerochin played in the youth of Dynamo Barnaul and Lokomotiv Moscow . In 2007 the midfielder was signed by the Moldovan club Sheriff Tiraspol . Here he won the championship and the cup three times. In 2011 he moved back to his Russian homeland for FK Krasnodar in the Premjer League . After a season in the second-class 1st division at SKA-Energija Khabarovsk , Jerochin was committed by the first division club Ural Yekaterinburg . In 2016 he moved to FK Rostow and only a year later to Zenit St. Petersburg . There he integrated well and was a regular in attacking midfield.

National team

Yerokhin made his debut for the Russian national team on August 31, 2016 in a friendly against Turkey, which ended 0-0. In the 2018 FIFA World Cup he came in two games for use. He was at the 2018 World Cup in his own country, but was only used in the knockout phase.
