Maxim Sergejewitsch Kanunnikow ( Russian Максим Сергеевич Канунников ; English Maksim Kanunnikov ; born July 14, 1991 in Nizhny Tagil , Russian SFSR , USSR ) is a Russian football player on the position of a center forward.

Career

Maxim Kanunnikow joined Zenit Saint Petersburg's U-21 in 2009 . After a short time, the coach accepted him into the first team. He made his debut in the Russian Premier League on August 23, 2009 as a substitute against Lokomotiv Moscow . On May 10, 2010 he scored his first league goal for Zenit against Amkar Perm . In the 2011/12 season he was awarded to Tom Tomsk . After his return he scored his second league goal on August 11, 2012 in a 5-0 win against Spartak Moscow . His contract ran until December 31, 2013.
