The Esiliiga 2013 was the 23rd season of the second highest Estonian soccer division for men. The season was held from March 10th to November 10th, 2013.

As in the previous season, the league consisted of 10 teams, the championship was played in a regular season in 2 rounds and 2 rounds. Each team competed four times against every other team. The table top FC Levadia Tallinn II was not eligible for promotion as a reserve team. Therefore, Jõhvi FC Lokomotiv rose in second place directly to the Meistriliiga , the fourth JK Tarvas Rakvere played in the promotion relegation . The last and penultimate were relegated to the third class Esiliiga B , the eighth had to go to relegation.

Relegation
The fourth placed competed in two games against the ninth of the Meistriliiga . Tartu, which was trained by the German Uwe Erkenbrecher , remained first class. For JK Tarvas Rakvere, it was the second missed promotion in a row after the relegation games in 2012 .
