The Meistriliiga 2005 was the 15th season of the highest Estonian football division of men. The game was played from March 6 to November 6, 2005. The defending champion was Levadia Tallinn .

The league was increased to ten clubs for the 2005 season. FC TVMK Tallinn won the championship title for the first time in the club's history. Tarmo Neemelo , who scored 41 goals, had a large share . As the reigning Estonian champions TVMK failed in the following Champions League season 2006/07 in the qualification at FH Hafnarfjörður .

FC Kuressaare went into relegation at the end of the season and had to admit defeat FC Ajax Lasnamäe in two games due to the away goals rule .
