The Kuressaare linnastaadion ( German Städtisches Stadion Kuressaare ) is a football stadium with an athletics facility in the Estonian city of Kuressaare on the Baltic Sea island of Saaremaa , the largest island in Estonia. It is also the home stadium of the first division club FC Kuressaare . It is located in the southern Lossipark , which is directly adjacent to the Baltic Sea . The stadium has a capacity of 2,000 spectators. A total of six international football matches were played in the stadium, including four for men and two for women , the last match in 2008.
The stadium is currently closed until autumn 2014 for renovation.
