The FC Kuressaare is an Estonian football club based in Kuressaare ( Saaremaa ).

The association from the island of Saaremaa, founded in 1997, is a typical “elevator” association , which has changed several times between the Meistriliiga and the Esiliiga since its foundation .

The "Yellow Cranes" play in yellow and away in blue jerseys. The home arena is the Kuressaare linnastaadion , which can hold 1,600 spectators .

2008 succeeded with a second final rank of promotion because the master of Esiliiga, the reserve of FC Levadia Tallinn , was not eligible for promotion. In the 2017 season, 5th place in the second-rate Esiliiga was enough to move up again. The reason was a license refusal for JK Kalev Sillamäe .
