Klubi Futbollit Laçi (KF Laçi) is an Albanian football club from the city of Laç .

history

Stadium in Laç

The club was founded in 1960 under the name Industriali Laçi and plays its home games in the Laç Stadium , which has a capacity of around 5000 spectators. The first promotion to the highest Albanian league, the Superiors , succeeded the club in 1992. After relegations to the third division in the categoria e dytë , Laçi has been playing in the Superiore again since 2009.

In fourth place in the 2009/10 season, KF Laçi qualified for the first time in an international competition, the UEFA Europa League . KF Laçi moved up after KS Besa Kavaja had qualified twice, but failed in the first qualifying round to Dnjapro Mahiljou from Belarus .

In the 2011/12 season , the KF Laçi were deducted six points because of unrest in the stadium. In 2013, Laçi won his first national title with the Albanian Football Cup . In 2015 the Supercup could also be won, with the opponent again being master KF Skënderbeu Korça  .
