The Kategoria e Pare 1945 (mutatis mutandis: First League ) was the eighth staging of the Albanian football championship and was the National Football Association Federata Shqiptare e Futbollit aligned. The season began on September 2 and ended on December 26, 1945. It was the first season after a seven-year break in play due to the Second World War .
Game mode
In the first season of theategoria e Parë after the Second World War, the league comprised twelve teams and thus more teams than in previous seasons. The start of the season in September was so late in the year as never before since the league was founded in 1930 . The last official game before the war in 1937 had the SK Tirana won.
During the war there were unofficial title fights in 1939, 1940 and 1942. In 1939 and 1942 these record champions Tirana won, in 1940 KS Vllaznia Shkodra won , which was runner-up in the other two years.
Compared to 1937, FK Tomori Berat , who was actually relegated at the time, and Apolonia Fier and Shqiponja Gjirokastra were new here, both of whom completed their first seasons in the category e Parë. With Liria Korça and Ylli Shkodra , two military clubs were added that had been newly founded and were dissolved again after the season. Dragoj Pogradec and Bardhyli Lezha no longer played in the league.
As in 1931 and during the war, the participating teams were divided into two groups in which the teams competed against each other twice. The two group winners played the championship title in two finals.
A total of 211 goals were scored, which corresponds to an average of 3.4 goals per game. The top scorer is not recorded due to a lack of records.

Finals
The two group winners, SK Tirana and Vllaznia Shkodra, met after the group games in the two-legged finals. In the first leg in Tirana , two goals in the 70th and 82nd minute of the game secured the guests a very good starting position. In the second leg on Boxing Day in Shkodra , Vllaznia was able to win again 2-1 and thus won the first official championship in the club's history after becoming runner-up twice in a row before the war. At the same time, the dominance of SK Tirana, which had won six of seven possible titles by then, was broken.
