The Category Superiore 2015/16 was the 77th season of the highest Albanian league in men's football . It began on August 22, 2015 and ended on May 19, 2016 with the 36th matchday.

Defending champion and winner of the last five championships was KF Skënderbeu Korça , the reigning cup winner was KF Laçi . Movers were KF Tërbuni Puka and KS Bylis Ballsh , which the League receipt but did not succeed. KF Apolonia Fier and KF Elbasani were no longer represented in the top division . Until shortly before the end of the season, FK Partizani Tirana also had a chance of winning the championship.

The old star of the national team Hamdi Salihi , who returned to Albania at the beginning of the season , was top scorer with 27 goals.
