The categories Superiore 2017/18 was the 79th season of the highest Albanian league in men's football . It began on September 9, 2017 and ended on May 18, 2018 with the 36th matchday.
The defending champion was FK Kukësi . Movers were KS Kamza and KS Lushnja . Korabi Peshkopi and KF Tirana , who did not play in the top division for the first time , were no longer represented in the top division.
KF Skënderbeu Korça won the championship for the eighth time ahead of schedule. Participation in the UEFA Champions League is excluded, however, as the champions are not allowed to participate in European competitions due to fraud in the past following a decision by the International Court of Justice . The place in the UEFA Champions League 2018/19 went to the runner-up FK Kukësi . For Europa League 2018/19 , the qualified Luftëtari Gjirokastër , KF Laçi and FK Partizani Tirana .
At the end of the season, KS Vllaznia Shkodra and KS Lushnja occupied the relegation places and thus do not playcategoria Superiore in the next season.
