Premijer Liga 2016/17

The Premijer Liga 2017/18 , which is also called BHT Premijer Liga according to a sponsorship agreement , was the 18th season of the highest Bosnian-Herzegovinian league in men's football . It began on July 22nd, 2017 with FK Mladost Doboj-Kakanj's home game against NK Vitez (1-0) and ended on May 20th, 2018.

HŠK Zrinjski Mostar made the title hat-trick with a terrific 4-0 win against FK Krupa on the last match day and thus became Bosnian-Herzegovinian champions for the sixth time . Equally on points, but with a worse goal difference, the capital club FK Željezničar Sarajevo was named runner-up.

In the upcoming 2018/19 season , NK Vitez and FK Borac Banja Luka will have to stay in the First League FBiH and First League RS . The first division debutants FK Zvijezda '09 and FK Tuzla City are considered to be replacements .

mode

The league was conducted in a two-tier format. In the regular season each team played once at home and once away against each of the eleven other teams. At the end of this phase, the six best teams qualified for the championship round, the bottom six play off the two relegated teams in a relegation round. All results from the preliminary round were adopted.
