NIFL Premiership 2016/17

The NIFL Premiership 2017/18 (also Danske Bank Premiership after the league sponsor Danske Bank ) was the 10th season of the highest Northern Irish football league since the reorganization of the league and the 117th season overall. The season started on August 11, 2017 and ended on May 12, 2018.

The defending champion was Linfield FC .

    Eleventh place, Carrick Rangers FC , would face the winner of the play-off between the runner-up and third place in the 2017/18 NIFL Championship . Since the runner-up in the second division, the Harland & Wolff Welders , had not applied for a professional license, the relegation will be carried out in just one round. The games were played on May 4th and 9th, 2018.
