The Irish League 2002/03 was the 102nd season of the highest Northern Irish football league . It began on August 10, 2002 and ended on May 1, 2003 with the last games of the master playoffs and relegation playouts. Glentoran FC became champions for the 21st time.

mode

The twelve teams initially played against each other three times. After 33 game days, the league divided into a master playoff and a relegation playout with six teams each, in which each team competed once against each team in the group. The bottom of the table played in relegation against relegation.
