Premijer Liga 2007/08

The Premijer Liga 2008/09 was the ninth season of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian league of men. It began on August 2, 2008 and ended on May 23, 2009. The defending champion was FK Modriča Maxima . HŠK Zrinjski Mostar became the new master .

mode

In the 2008/09 season, sixteen clubs competed in a total of 30 rounds. Each team played once at home and once away against each of the fifteen other teams. In the Premijer Liga, a total of sixteen teams played for three international starting places, a Champions League place, as well as two Europa League places for the placement and one for the cup winner. In addition, the last two had to relegate to the second highest division, the first division.
