The SAS Ligaen 2008/09 was the 19th season of the top division in Danish football, which was played by the Danish Football Association DBU . The season began on July 19, 2008 when Randers FC played against Aarhus GF and ended on May 31, 2009. The defending champions were Aalborg BK .
