The Randers FC is a football club from the Danish city of Randers .
history
The RFC is an amalgamation of the first teams from Dronningborg Boldklub , Hornbæk Sportsforening , Kristrup Boldklub , Randers Sportsklub Freja , Randers KFUM and Vorup fB , which continue to exist as independent clubs (as of April 1, 2005) . The best known of these clubs is the three-time Danish cup winner SK Freja Randers .
Club logo
The club's logo is reminiscent of a large horse statue in the center of Randers, which became the city's unofficial symbol.

championship
The 2004/05 season was the first in the Danish top division, but the RFC had to leave after only one season as bottom of the table. In 2006, however, the club rose again to the super league . After the descent in 2011, the direct resurgence followed.
The predecessor club Randers Freja was runner-up in 1973.
