Peter Larsson (born April 30, 1984 in Halmstad ) is a Swedish football player .

Career

Larsson started playing football at IF Centers . In 1998, the central defender moved to the youth department of Halmstads BK . In 2003 he moved up to the professional squad, but did not make his first appearance in the Allsvenskan until the 2004 season . A year later he was able to fight for a permanent place at HBK . He has been playing for FC Copenhagen since summer 2008 .

Larson made his debut in the Swedish U21 team in 2004. In the team, however, he was mainly a substitute and only came to a second use until 2006. In January 2008 he was appointed to the Swedish national team for the first time . In the 1-0 win over Costa Rica on the occasion of an American tour of the Swedish selection, he made his international debut on January 13 when he came on in the 71st minute for Suleyman Sleyman , another debutant.
