The Superligaen 1991/92 was the second season of the top division in Danish football, which was played by the Danish Football Association DBU . The season began on July 28, 1991 and ended on June 8, 1992.

The season was changed from the calendar year rhythm to autumn / spring. The league was held in two rounds. The first round took place in autumn 1991. In this, ten teams played against each other in a round trip. The first eight played in the second round in spring 1992 again in a round trip for the championship. Half of the points scored from the first round were carried over to the second round. The goals were set back to zero.

The teams that were in the last two places after the first round played in the qualifying league for participation in the Danish Superliga 1992/93.
