Steen Thychosen (born September 22, 1958 in Vejle ) is a former Danish football player and coach .

Career

Thychosen began his career at Vejle BK in 1976 . There he was able to win the Danish Cup in 1977 and the Danish championship a year later . After these successes, he moved to Borussia Mönchengladbach in Germany in 1978 . There he celebrated his greatest international success by winning the UEFA Cup with the Germans in 1979 . Thychoses was not used in the final. In 1981 he went to Belgium to join RWD Molenbeek .

In 1983 he returned to his home club Vejle BK and was able to celebrate the Danish championship title for the second time in 1984. In the same year he was called up to the squad of the Danish selection for the European Championships in France in 1984 , but Thychoses was not used. A year later he tried his luck in Switzerland at Lausanne-Sports , where he was the top scorer in what was then the National League A. He returned home in 1987, again to Vejle BK, and ended his career there until 1992. From 2003 to 2004 he was the coach of Vejle BK .
