Marcel Mauron (born March 5, 1929 ) is a former Swiss football player .
Life
Marcel Mauron was the top scorer in the National League A with 30 goals in the 1954/55 season. He won the double with La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1954 and 1955. He also won the cup for the third time in 1957. Mauron took part in the 1954 World Cup with Switzerland , but was not used. He made a total of nine international matches in which he scored two goals.
Mauron was considered fast, powerful and very dangerous. Mauron later worked in the watch industry.
