Daniel Jeandupeux
Daniel Jeandupeux (born February 7, 1949 in Saint-Imier ) is a Swiss football coach and former player.
Career as a player and coach
As a player, Jeandupeux won two Swiss championships and two cups with FC Zurich . But after that, at Girondins Bordeaux , he couldn't earn any more merits.
After ending his career in 1979 at an unusually young age of 30, he took over his first club as a coach, FC Sion, that same year. He then trained with FC Zurich , with whom he also became a Swiss champion in 1981. From March 12, 1986 to April 26, 1989, he coached the Swiss national team , and was with SM Caen for a total of eight years . Today he is the Sports Director at UC Le Mans .
Jeandupeux was only active as a player and previously as a coach in Switzerland and France . In 1991 he was voted Coach of the Year in France .
