Qualifying matches
UEFA Europa League
- Round 1
The two group first and second in the relegation round played a winner in two rounds, who then determined another Europa League participant in the third round against the third of the championship round. Since Sønderjysk Elitesport had already qualified for the third qualifying round for the Europa League by winning the cup, AC Horsens moved straight to the second round. Sønderjysk Elitesport no longer had to play in the qualifiers.
The first leg took place on July 11, the second leg on July 19, 2020.

Relegation
Due to the planned downsizing of the league from 14 to 12 teams, unlike in previous years, the two worst teams in the relegation round were relegated directly. The two third-placed players competed against each other in a two-way leg to determine a third relegated team in a direct duel. The winner (Lyngby BK) stayed in the super league, the loser (Hobro IK) was relegated to the 1st division.
The first leg took place on July 13, the second leg on July 20, 2020.
