Mikkel Krogh Damsgaard (born July 3, 2000 in Jyllinge ) is a Danish football player . He has played for FC Nordsjælland since his youth and is a member of the professional squad. He is also a young Danish national player.

Career

Mikkel Damsgaard moved from Jyllinge to the youth academy at FC Nordsjælland at the age of twelve . He made his debut for the professional team in the 2017/18 season , finished third with the team in the Super League at the end of the season and qualified for the 2018/19 Europa League . Damsgaard's contract with FC Nordsjælland runs until 2022.

During the 2020 summer break, Mikkel Damsgaard will move to Serie A at Sampdoria Genoa in Italy , where he signed a contract until 2024.
