Mohammed Kudus (born August 2, 2000 in Accra ) is a Ghanaian football player who has been under contract with the Dutch honorary division Ajax Amsterdam since July 2020 . The midfielder has been a Ghanaian national player since October 2019 .
Career
society
Kudu comes from the prestigious Right to Dream Academy , which he joined at the age of 12. In January 2018 he joined at the age of 17 years with the two-matched players Ibrahim Sadiq and Gideon Mensah to Danish first division side FC Nordsjælland . There he played the 2017/18 season in the reserve team to the end. He made his debut in the Superligaen on August 5 (4th matchday) in the 0-2 away defeat against Brøndby IF . He quickly established himself as a regular in midfield this 2018/19 season . On March 4, 2019 (24th matchday), he scored his first league goal in a 3-3 draw against FC Midtjylland . During this season he scored three times in 26 league games. In the next 2019/20 season , he retained his status as a regular. On June 20, 2020 (29th matchday), he scored twice in the 4-0 away win against Aalborg BK . Until his move, he played 25 league games in which he was able to score eleven goals.
On July 16, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic , the Danish championship was not yet over at that time, Mohammed Kudus moved to the Dutch honorary division Ajax Amsterdam , where he signed a five-year contract.
National team
After playing for the U17 and U20 Ghanaians , he made his debut on November 14, 2019 against South Africa in qualifying for the Africa Cup 2021 for the A selection . In the 61st minute he was substituted on for Alfred Duncan and 20 minutes later he scored the 2-0 final score.
