Lassina Chamste Soudine Franck Traoré (born January 12, 2001 in Bobo Dioulasso ) is a Burkinabe soccer player who is currently under contract with the honorary division Ajax Amsterdam . He has been a Burkinabe international since May 2017 .

Lassina Traoré started playing soccer for the Burkinabe club Rahimo FC and moved to the youth department of Ajax Cape Town in July 2017 . After his 18th birthday, he moved to Ajax Amsterdam in the Eredivisie in January 2019 , where he signed a 3-1 / 2-year contract. At Ajax, he initially played in the reserve team. On January 28, 2019 (22nd matchday) he made his debut in the 3-1 home defeat against FC Volendam at Jong Ajax in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie and scored the only goal of his team in this game. In the reserve he quickly established himself as a regular player and showed excellent performances in this 2018/19 season . He was used in 14 league games, in which he contributed eight goals and three assists. He started the following season in the reserve, for which he scored 13 goals in 17 appearances until December 2019 and prepared seven more goals. After this strong start to the season, he started playing more in the first team in December. On December 22, 2019 (18th matchday) he scored a goal in a 6-1 home win against ADO Den Haag and prepared a goal. This season he scored two goals and as many assists in nine first-team league games. In parallel, he completed 17 league games for the reserve, in which he scored 13 goals and prepared seven more goals.

National team

Traoré made his debut for the Burkinabe national team on May 4, 2017 in a 1-1 draw against Benin . In this game he also scored his first international goal.
