Lacina Traoré (born May 20, 1990 in Abidjan ) is an Ivorian football player . The more than two meters tall Lacina Traoré is considered a classic center forward.
Career
society
Traoré started his career in the youth department of ASEC Mimosas . In 2006 he moved to Stade d'Abidjan in the first Ivorian league. In January 2008, Traoré moved to the Romanian League 1 to CFR Cluj . On April 4, 2009 he made his debut in League 1 when he was substituted on for Yssouf Koné in the 90th minute of the 3-0 win against FC Vaslui . Traoré scored his first goal for CFR Cluj on April 18, 2009 in a 1-0 win over Farul Constanța .
In January 2011, Traoré left Cluj after three years and moved to the newly promoted Kuban Krasnodar in the Russian Premier League . In the 2011/12 season, Traoré scored 17 goals. Behind Seydou Doumbia and Alexandr Kerzhakov, he was the third top scorer.
In June 2012, Traoré moved to Anzhi Makhachkala for 17 million euros .
On January 4, 2014 Traoré moved to the French Ligue 1 for AS Monaco . He signed a contract until June 30, 2018 and was loaned to Everton FC in the Premier League until the end of the season . Due to injury, Traoré was only used in the Premier League. He returned to Monaco for the 2014/15 season . In the summer of 2016 he was awarded to CSKA Moscow until the end of the year , for the second half of the season to Sporting Gijón in the Spanish Primera División . There he had to relegate his team at the end of the 2016/17 season .
National team
On November 14, 2012 he made his international debut for the Ivory Coast in a friendly against Austria . After coming on as a substitute for the second half, he scored the 3-0 winning goal. In January 2015 he was appointed to the Ivorian squad for the African Championship by coach Hervé Renard . He was used in the semi-finals against the Democratic Republic of the Congo and was African champion on February 8, 2015 with a final win on penalties against Ghana .
