Sergiño Gianni Dest (born November 3, 2000 in Almere , Netherlands ) is an American - Dutch football player .
Dest has been with Ajax Amsterdam since he was a teenager and played his first game for the second team in 2018 ; In addition to being a Dutch citizen, he is also a US citizen and therefore plays for the United States' national teams.

Sergiño Dest, son of a New York City- born Surinamese -American member of the US Army and a Dutch mother, grew up in Almere, the city of his birth . He played for the local club Almere City until 2012 and then moved to the junior academy of the Dutch record champions Ajax Amsterdam . After five appearances and one goal for the reserve team Jong Ajax , he received a contract valid from January 1, 2019 to June 30, 2021 on December 10, 2018 at the age of 18 and made his debut on August 10, 2019 (2nd match day) at the 5th : 0 win in the home game against FC Emmen with a substitution for Noussair Mazraoui in the 54th minute for the professional team.
National team
Dest took part in the 2017 U17 World Cup in India with the US U17 national team and made four appearances during the tournament.
