Răzvan Marin (born May 23, 1996 in Bucharest ) is a Romanian football player . He has been under contract with Ajax Amsterdam since July 2019 .

Career

Marin moved in the summer of 2013 from Gheorghe Hagi's football school to the affiliated club FC Viitorul Constanța , which was playing in League 1 at the time . There he rarely got a chance in his first season and was one of the starting XI. In the second half of the 2014/15 season he was used more often and mostly switched between the starting line-up and substitutes' bench. In the 2016/17 season he became a regular midfield player.

In April 2019, Marin announced the move to Ajax Amsterdam from the 2019/20 season .

National team

Marin was appointed to the Romanian national team for the first time at the end of August 2016 , but was not used. In the World Cup qualifier against Armenia on October 8, 2016, he played his first international match and scored the goal to make it 3-0. Since then he has been part of the regular formation of national coach Christoph Daum .
