Petre Marin (born September 8, 1973 in Bucharest ) is a former Romanian football player . He played a total of 468 games in the highest Romanian football league and won the Romanian championship twice.

Career

society

Marin started his career in 1992 in Divizia C at Sportul Braniştea and moved to Sportul Studențesc in 1993 . After two of the second seasons he moved to FC National Bucharest . In January 2001 he moved to Rapid Bucharest and returned to Național Bucharest after half a year. In 2004 he moved to Steaua Bucharest , where he played until 2010 and won the Romanian championship in 2005 and 2006 . At the beginning of the 2010/11 season he was under contract with Unirea Urziceni , but terminated this prematurely at the end of August 2010. In January 2011 he was signed by CS Concordia Chiajna from Liga II and promoted to League I with him . On January 4, 2012, he ended his active career.

National team

Marin played his first international match against Ireland in 2004 , which Ireland won 1-0.
