Nicolás Alejandro Tagliafico (born August 31, 1992 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine football player who plays for Ajax Amsterdam .

Career

He made his professional debut in the 2011 league season in the away game against Tigre . Here he was substituted on in the 72nd minute of the game. This game could be won 2: 1. In 2012 Tagliafico was loaned to the Spanish club Real Murcia for one year .

In 2015 he moved to CA Independiente and played in the away game against Newell's Old Boys , who were defeated 3-2.

In January 2018 Tagliafico moved to the Eredivise at Ajax Amsterdam, where he played the first competitive game in the Klassieker on January 21, 2018.

National team

Tagliafico took part in the 2011 Junior World Cup with the Argentine U-20 selection , which faced Portugal in the quarter-finals. In the penalty shootout, he missed the last penalty and Argentina were eliminated 4-5.

On June 9, 2017, he made his international debut for the Argentine national football team in the friendly against Brazil . Tagliafico was part of the squad for the 2018 World Cup . He also played the Copa America 2019 and won the bronze medal with Argentina after beating Chile 2-1 in the game for third place.
