Christopher Paul Hasson (* around 1969 ) is a lieutenant in the US Coast Guard who was accused in February 2019 of planning targeted attacks on high-profile American politicians and media representatives as well as indiscriminate terrorist attacks using biological weapons. He was arrested in February 2019 for possession of weapons and drugs.

Hasson, who identifies himself as a white nationalist, was inspired by the Norwegian terrorist Anders Behring Breivik and abortion clinic bomber Eric Robert Rudolph , according to federal prosecutors .

Career

Hasson was an F / A-18 aircraft mechanic in the Marine Corps from 1988 to 1993, attaining the rank of non-commissioned officer. He then served in the Army National Guard for about two years. He served in the Virginia Army National Guard as an infantryman with Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 183rd Infantry Regiment. Hasson joined the Arizona Army in September 1995 and left in March 1996 with the same rank as when he joined. He has been with the Coast Guard for more than twenty years and has held his current position there since 2016.

Arrest 2019

Hasson had amassed arms and ammunition since 2017. His goals included the murder of high-profile democratic and left-wing politicians and media giants.

Hasson tried to find out where democratic politicians and media workers lived. This was backed up by his recent Google searches under the pending lawsuit against him. These included: “what if Trump is illegally indicted”, “civil war if Trump is indicted”, “US Social Democrats”, “where in DC do most senators live”, “where in dc can you see congressmen”, “have senators SS protection ”and“ are protected by top judges ”. Hasson looked and found the address of MSNBC host Joe Scarborough . Hasson believes in the conspiracy theory of a planned genocide against whites.

In 2020, he was sentenced to 160 months in prison.

Personal

Hasson is married with two children, one of whom is in the Marine Corps.
