    Qualifying matches

    UEFA Europa League

    Round 1

The two group first and second in the relegation round played a winner in two rounds, who then determined another Europa League participant in the third round against the third of the championship round. Since Sønderjysk Elitesport had already qualified for the third qualifying round for the Europa League by winning the cup, AC Horsens moved straight to the second round. Sønderjysk Elitesport no longer had to play in the qualifiers.

The first leg took place on July 11, the second leg on July 19, 2020.

    round 2

The winner of the first round (Odense BK) met in the second round against AC Horsens, who did not have to compete in the first round due to the direct qualification of Sønderjysk Elitesport for the Europa League qualification.

The first leg took place on July 23, the second leg on July 26, 2020.

    Round 3

In the third round, the winner of the second round met the third-placed winner of the championship round to determine the last participant for the Europa League qualification in a direct duel.

The game was played on July 29, 2020, making it the last of the season.

    Result
Aarhus GF 2: 1 Odense BK

    Relegation

Due to the planned downsizing of the league from 14 to 12 teams, unlike in previous years, the two worst teams in the relegation round were relegated directly. The two third-placed players competed against each other in a two-way leg to determine a third relegated team in a direct duel. The winner (Lyngby BK) stayed in the super league, the loser (Hobro IK) was relegated to the 1st division.

The first leg took place on July 13, the second leg on July 20, 2020.
