Frank Rosendahl Kristensen Michalski (born March 10, 1977 in Agger ) is a former Danish football player .

biography

Kristensen was born in 1977 in the village of Agger on the Danish North Sea coast and played for Vestervig Agger in his youth . In 1997, the 1.86 m tall striker moved to the first division club Ikast FS , which was converted to FC Midtjylland in 1999 . During this time Kristensen completed three games for the Danish U-21 national team . With FC Midtjylland, which initially competed in the second division because of the re-establishment, Kristensen rose again to the super league after a season and subsequently contributed with his goals to ensure that the club established itself in the top division; his goal danger earned him the nickname "Farlige Frank" ("dangerous Frank"). He reached the Danish Cup final four times with the club and was runner-up in 2007 and 2008. In total, he played 266 league games for the club and scored 106 goals.

After almost 14 years with the club, he left Midtjylland in January 2011 and joined league rivals Randers FC , who were relegated to the second division at the end of the season. The following season he rose directly back to the first division with the RFC. Measured against the expectations of Kristensen, however, his time in Randers was relatively disappointing; after he had only six missions in the 2012/13 season up to the 14th match day - including three short missions and only one over the full season - his contract was finally terminated in November 2012 with immediate effect.

After three months of being without a club, Kristensen returned to Midtjylland in February 2013, but did not get beyond the status of a substitute player in the second half of the season or in the preliminary round of the following 2013/14 season. He ended his career in 2014.
