history

The stadium, which was inaugurated in 1929, has after the complete renovation in 2009 a spectator capacity of 10,400 covered seats (of which 7,500 seats). Around 30,000 spectators are allowed to attend concerts. The renovation costs of 90 million Danish kroner were raised by the Horsens municipality and private investors. During the renovation of the stadium, the two longitudinal stands were replaced by a new building and stands were built behind the goals and provided with a roof. The roof structure lowers over the back doors. The four masts of the floodlight system of the CASA Arena are also striking ; which in their extraordinary shape tower far above the stadium. The forum foyer is located on the south stand of the venue ; whose premises can be rented for events and celebrations. On the first floor a sponsor is lounge with 1,000 seats and in the second floor there are 12 VIP - boxes .

On August 8, 2015, the Grand Prix of Denmark in the Speedway Individual World Championship will be held there for the first time .
