The Zaranj Airport (English: Zaranj Airport ) is a national airport in Zaranj in Afghanistan .
Location and directions
The airport is located in the Iranian-Afghan border area, in the northern part of the city of Saranj, about 190 kilometers northeast of the city of Zahedan in Iran . Iranian airspace is only about three nautical miles west of the airport.

The airport is served by several airlines.
Accidents
On June 18, 1989, an Antonov 26 coming from Kabul airport had an accident on the way to Saranj. 6 of the 39 inmates were killed.
